The best coffee shop in RI that serves nitro! I have compared nitro from different places with this specific coffee connection. Not even their branches can beat this location

The atmosphere is cute and inviting. We sat on a comfortable couch and two really stylish yet comfortable chairs. I ordered avocado toast and a latte. The avocado toast was seasoned perfectly. Service was quick and the girls who took care of us were friendly.

I wanted to update my previous review based on the management and their commitment to making things right. While my initial experience was quite frustrating, Joey reached out to me and offered to make it right. He remade my entire order, making sure the drinks were made correctly and with pleasure. I truly appreciate your commitment to your customers and your products! I went to Coffee Connection Smithfield yesterday morning to purchase Coffees for staff. I am a teacher and they have worked hard so I wanted to treat them as a thank you! I ordered 8 drinks to which the manager said "are you kidding me". Im not sure how me ordering 8 is different than havimg 8 people in line on a Friday morning. I was then told they could only take card, so I had no choice but to pay the fee for using credit. I asked for a receipt and was told they cpuld not give me that. Then the drinks started to be made by 3 different people. I asked how they packed drinks for door dash and was there something they could put them in to assist me with carrying them out. No, not even double trays. Thank goodness for a few kind customers helping me carry 8 drinks to my car. Once I delivered my drinks to staff I found out several were made completely incorrect mocha was caramel instead and missing cold foam thst I paid for. Others added sugar and so on. I also tipped ahead because I knew it was a larger order! I did call 4 times and no one answered. Overall the staff looks miserable and treated ne as if I went in amd asked for free items and the product was not acceptable! Very sad I used to enjoy Coffee connection as a treat!

Coffee Connection is easily one of my favorite spots. The coffee is always excellent, but what really makes it awesome is the people. The whole staff is seriously some of the nicest, most genuine folks around — they always greet you with a smile and actually remember you. Joey, the GM, sets the tone for the place and you can tell everyone loves working there. Just an overall great vibe every time I stop in.

The Coffee Connection in Smithfield is hands down the best coffee shop around. Since moving to the area, I’ve been looking for my new go-to spot, and I’m so glad I found this place. The food is absolutely fabulous, the prices are great, and you can tell the management really knows how to run things—everything is smooth, welcoming, and well organized. What truly sets this location apart is the staff. Everyone is so warm and friendly that you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. The service is wonderful every single time, and I so look forward to going there each day. I used to be a daily patron of Brewed Awakening in Johnson (it is a complete 180 degree difference), but discovering The Coffee Connection in Smithfield has been a world of a difference and I’m so thankful! This place has quickly become my new favorite. Highly recommended!

I do appreciate the fact that this is a small chain, but the offerings feel so wholesome: goji berries, cocoa nibs, Lox on a bagel, hummus wraps, falafel, dark chocolate squares, protein smoothies, and so much more! They use a tea brand I had never heard of before called China Mist. It’s good! I do think it would be better if the water was filtered. It did not taste filtered. Tasted a little icky. I also tried their Coconut Cream Pie coffee with stevia. Glad they have stevia! The place has a ramp or stairs, so fully accessible. The door wasn’t too heavy but it takes a bit of force. The interior leaves no difficulty navigating or parking wheels, and the bathroom is fully accessible. There is a choice of bar stools, chairs, or even a comfy couch. The music is low, though kitchen noises are pretty loud. I also love that they have baklava or protein bars, mixed nuts, and unique other snacks to go that you won’t find at a traditional chain cafe. And they use these adorable covers for drinks that, unlike Starbucks’ are NOT plastic (which leaches into a drink) and they’re so damn cute!!!! Lots of cooler drinks too including eveything from local milk to pop low-er sugar sodas.

Best coffee in Northern Rhode Island. Love this place. It's easily the best designed. Beautiful building..inside and outside. I enjoy the service and the chocolate peanut butter coffee is one of favorite coffees around. And they have acai bowls that are filled with all the wonderfully fresh fixins. Definitely swing through here. You will not be disappointed! See you soon CC Smithfield!

Nice modern/retro farmhouse coffee shop with a decent menu for breakfast/wraps/smoothies/bakery items. They do offer gluten free bread but no pastries.

Wow, wow, and wow—tried this gem today! I was greeted by the manager, Joe, who not only provided top-notch customer service but also checked in to see how my meal was. The bagels were fresh and delicious, and the homemade veggie cream cheese was to die for. My iced coffee was dancing on my tongue with flavor! On top of the amazing service and food, the environment is friendly and comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!
